Are boat T-tops universal or boat-specific?
Stryker T-tops are "universal" which means they are not made for specific boat models. Our T-tops have an adjustable footprint which allows the upright leg sections to move in or out before securing everything down. You select a model based on:
- Your boat's center console width
- Flat deck space next to console (for leg mounts)
- Desired features (folding vs. fixed, tubing diameter, etc.)
Can I install it myself, or do I need professional help?
Yes! All our T-tops have been designed to be DIY-friendly with basic tools and 2 people.

What finishes do you offer and what are the differences and benefits of each?
For all T-top models and selected accessories, we offer a choice of either a high performance marine-grade anodized finish or a premium powder coated finish. Both options provide excellent protection against corrosion and harsh environments.
- Anodized Finish: Sealed aluminum, marine-grade, highly corrosion-resistant. Essentially clear, revealing the aluminum's natural look.
- Powder-Coated: Durable, UV-protected, electrostatically applied and heat-cured. Available in gloss white and gloss black.
The SG900 T-top comes in an optional QuickSilver powder coated finish instead of anodized.
Can I add rod holders, lights, speakers, or antennas to it?
Yes! The best part about Stryker T-Tops is that they are highly customizable. We have a diverse line of accessories available from Stryker that can be clamped or mounted directly to the frame. Popular accessories include:

Will it rattle or make noise when running offshore?
No. When installed properly, Stryker T-Tops are extremely solid and quiet. Some key features include:

Does it fold down or collapse for garage storage/trailering?
The Stryker SG600 is our dedicated folding T-top. This is a popular model for those storing their boat in an enclosed structure with lower height clearance like a garage, passing under low bridges, and for trailering. Folding the SG600 is simple and quick, especially with our optional quick-release knobs:
- Loosen front bolts
- Remove rear bolts
- Tilt the T-top forward toward the bow
How much shade coverage will it actually provide?
Shade coverage depends on the model, but all offer generous protection centered around the helm with extra coverage hanging over the deck rearward.
