Rod Holders
Rod Holders for T-Tops
The majority or Stryker's aluminum fishing rod holders mount directly to your T-top tubing to keep the deck free and clear so the rods are ready when you are. All are machined from premium corrosion resistant 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum alloy with your choice of anodized (clear) or powder coat finish in white or black. Models offer single holders, 5 or 7 rod rocket launchers and some have integrated LED deck lights built in. A universal clamp system fits most tubing diameters and lets you reposition without drilling.

Rod Holder FAQ's
What is a T-top rod holder?
A T-top rod holder securely holds fishing rods while the boat is underway or docked, keeping gear organized and within reach. Most use a clamping base that fits a range of tubing diameters, making them removable and easy to relocate.
Where do you install T-top rod holders?
Rod holders clamp directly to the T-top tubing, typically higher up on the frame to keep the deck clear. They can be mounted rear-facing, side-mount, or anywhere the tubing diameter is compatible. Many models are repositionable without drilling.
What is the best material for fishing rod holders?
Aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum is the top choice for its strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. Anodized and powder coat finishes add further protection in harsh marine environments. Stainless steel is a solid alternative but requires more upkeep over time.
How many rods can a T-top rod holder hold?
It depends on the configuration. Single and dual holders are available for smaller setups, while rocket launchers accommodate 5 or 7 rods in one unit. Check the product specs for capacity and any clamp size or adapter requirements.
Can T-top rod holders be adjusted or moved?
Yes. The universal clamp design on most models makes repositioning straightforward — no drilling required. Some holders also adjust for angle, with locking or friction controls to hold position once set.
Can I use a T-top rod holder for trolling?
Standard rod holders aren't rated for the forces involved in trolling. For that application, outrigger mounts are the better fit — they're built to handle heavier loads and the stress that comes with bigger fish and dedicated trolling setups.
How do I choose the right rod holder for my boat?
Start with how many rods you run and where you want them positioned. Then confirm your T-top tubing diameter matches the clamp range of the holder you're considering. Single holders work for simple setups; rocket launchers make sense if you're running multiple rigs at once.
